And now, the Organ recital and it's attendees have not met because of back surgery, lung and mobility issues. The organ plays on, but without the audience that makes the songs more harmonic. Hopefully summer will bring more recitals. And you can share your song.

Your writing is so very wonderful! I am often the featured soloist in my friends' group organ recital--I love the analogy. I have been an actual church organist, but that was taken away by the ravages of severe rheumatoid arthritis. I will be 71 in November, and am thankful for every day I can get out of bed and function. Some days are better than others, but I'M HERE!!!! Thank you Stephanie!
