I am a Quiche Lorraine… filled with the umami of caramelized shallots and crispy bacon and held together by the nutty pull of Gruyère and Swiss… oh, and heavy whipping cream and VERY expensive eggs.
My sisters pies are all fabulous but my fave is strawberry rhubarb 😋

Pie- I’m picky but love pecan! Oh and blueberry. And chocolate mousse pie. And I’ll eat pumpkin only if it’s my MILs recipe.

I'm an avid baker but have avoided pies until recently. I've dived in deep into the pie world and insatiable for all things pie. 🥧 ❤️
Ok I will now watch the Meghan Markle show……maybe with a piece of pecan (so many ways to pronounce this) pie……
Whole foods has a good one but as I will be up in Two Harbors next week, I may wait to get one from the Rustic Inn….maybe the best pie ever.
